Position Overview:

HCF is looking for a Brand Marketing Intern to join our fast-paced Growth Marketing organization. This internship will be a 3-month Summer internship position starting June 1, 2021 – August 31, 2021. This role reports to the Brand Manager and will work cross-functionally with the Social, Creative, Innovation, Shopper and E-commerce Teams. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and team player with a consumer-centric mindset, and excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop one key drive period omnichannel 360° marketing plan that builds brand equity, and drives household penetration growth, through the marketing funnel and across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Responsible for supporting innovation launch strategy by contributing to and tracking execution of weekly go-to-market tactical plan, overseeing creative assets and content creation, and collaborating with Brand Manager and Creative Team on product messaging.

Position Overview:

HCF is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to plan various sales needs and communicate sales plans to business teams.  This is an impactful, challenging, and fast-paced opportunity with a growing organization.  As a representative of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales operations – from onboarding new customers and launching new items to owning HCF’s inventory visibility with national food distributors. Working cross-functionally with Sales Directors, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Innovation, and EDI teams, you will be responsible for creating project plans to launch new items and onboard new customers. To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter who combines excellent communication skills with strong teamwork skills to meet the demands of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new item set up at distributors (UNFI & KEHE).
  • Own HCF’s inventory visibility with national food distributors and direct partners; provide timely and accurate distributor inventory reports to the sales team and leadership as needed.
  • Be a key point of contact between retail/distributor logistics and operations teams, and HCF.
  • Onboard new customers: Engage with Supply Chain, Finance and EDI teams at time of customer negotiation for routing guide review and inputs for Sales negotiations.

  • Send out wholesale weekly newsletter to provide visibility into what retailers are up to.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales operations experience across multiple CPG categories and multiple customers.
  • Previous experience working with national food distributors (UNFI & KEHE) and/or national retailers.
  • Basic Excel skills – vlookups, pivot tables – to understand inventory levels and supply allocation.
